Get Fit Fore Golf

This four week program focuses on improving both overall fitness and your golf swing. 

  • Touring professionals have realized that to maximize performance they need to be more than simply fit.

  • Recreational golfers can take advantage of the same sports conditioning science used by professional golfers. However, just like professionals, recreational golfers must understand that running on a treadmill and lifting weights is fine for fitness but doesn’t necessarily help improve your swing mechanics.

  • Our program will help develop the foundations of a sound swing and minimize injury and maximize your performance. 

  • Do you find it frustrating to make improvements to your swing?  As a professional golf instructor I have found that to be able to execute a well tempo swing the addition of specific movement exercises helps overcome physical limitations.

  • Join our program and stop practice poor mechanics and swing faults that lead to injuries.



LEVEL I

 Week 1 – Flexibility/ postural/ core work.  With Swing assessment/ refresher on grip and stance.

 Week 2 – Understanding your core’s role in powerful swing.  Continue to work on flexibility.  Learn techniques for practicing a proper swing plane.

 Week 3- Exercises to improve balance / co-ordination / flexibility and core activation. Continue work on weight transfer.

 Week 4 - Hitting balls on range with the focus on drivers and fairway woods / putting and chipping.   A routine to expand on what you have learned during these sessions.

 Weekly nutritional recipes to help maintain a well-balanced diet as well as giving you the nutrients to finish your round.

 LEVEL 2

 Week 1 – Fitness and Swing Assessment reviewing posture and stance.  The art between the takeaway and back swing.

 Week 2 – Learning your lower body’s roll in the downswing and getting your tempo in sync.  Exercises designed to make this transition easier. 

 Week 3- Exercises to improve balance / co-ordination / flexibility and core activation. Drills for weight transfer.

 Week 4 – Hit the range and get your game ready for the links.  A yoga meditation class designed to improve concentration while out on the golf course.

 Weekly nutritional recipes to help maintain a well-balanced diet as well as giving you the nutrients to finish your round.



 Your instructors for this program are: Jillian Walden and Ashley Gravett.

 Jillian is passionate about proper: form and execution of exercises.  She has developed a program that helps lengthen what is tight/strengthen what is weak to reduce aches, pains and a variety of swing faults with your golf game.  Ashley has a great understanding of how the golf swing works and how to adapt it to each person’s strengths.  Her commitment to educating golfers on the importance of a well tempo swing has proven success to her students.  This program will help turn your body into a power generating machine, reduce inconsistencies and improve your overall enjoyment of the game.

 What’s great about this program is it caters to each and every golfer.  We take into account any past or present injuries and work with you to maximize your success.

 This 4 week program is only $100.00 tax included.

 Dates:  Level 1: Monday May 2, 9, 16, 30 at 10:30 am

 Level 2: Wednesday May 4, 11, 18, 25 at 10:30 am
